Making cherry cake

Being thoroughly bored with revision I decided to make my speciality cake: cherry cake. I will show you how to make it through pictures. Enjoy.

I can only apologise

I can only say sorry for not writing a blog post in almost a week, except I have been extremely busy this week. However here is a catch up of what I have done.

I got my first Easter egg off my brother on Tuesday

I had exam results on Thursday (the less said about that the better, lets just say WJEC probably are not the most popular organisation with teenagers and teachers at this precise moment in time)

My nan brought me loads of cake mixture and ingredients to bake some treats today (I will probably post a blog post once they have been made)

I built a DVD rack- I've built so many things this year 

I started watching Doctor Who series 5 this week- very much enjoying it although I'm not too far in. AND I also started watching Merlin Series 1 again, and it makes me sad knowing what is going to happen but none the less I'm definitely enjoying it more this time around.

And that's about all that has happened this week. Hopefully I will schedule posts so they are not as disjointed... how about once a week on a Saturday or maybe twice a week? You see the problem is, is that I'm not that interesting so I don't have much to say, haha.

Since it was half term I've not done much except watch DVDs and do some revision. I finished Merlin series 3 and have progressed onto series four which is extremely intense- so much so that I screamed so loudly at one point I made my mum jump who was all the downstairs, but oh my gosh it is so good expect a full review on all of the series' once I have finished them all (so within the next month or two). The chocolate cake went down a treat and was finished within a day. Silver Linings Playbook is somewhat boring and hard to get through (again expect a review once I have finished) and also with Perks coming out on DVD this week made me really happy and I have planned a blog post about that which should be up in the next week or so.

How I spent my Valentines day

As you may know I hate Valentines day for reasons stated in THIS blog post, despite this I thought I would tell you how I spent 'the most romantic day of the year.'

I woke up and made myself some breakfast of Mini Max breakfast cereal and ate it whilst I caught up with my favourite YouTuber's videos before proceeding downstairs to sit amongst my brand new Disney cushions and doing some history revision and watching Captain America (which made me cry, not going to lie.)

After that I made some lunch and began my marathon of watching How I Met Your Mother episodes which I have just discovered and love! They are brilliant, I'd recommend. 

However, after about seven episodes I got a little bit restless and decided to make a cake which looks like an absolute train wreak but its okay because it tastes awesome. I'm am however, unsure of what those yellow dots are I suppose that must be a bit of burnt white chocolate but oh well.

After my stint as a failed chef I went back to watching How I Met Your Mother and decided HEY after all that chocolate I will be eating I should do some exercise so I got my new exercise bike out and read Silver Linings Playbook on my Kindle whilst I was riding, it's a good way to make you go longer and faster if your mind is not occupied on the actual workout add some small weights for your arms and you're good to go.

After that I reorganised my bookshelf (one of my favourite things to do, I KNOW, CRAZYYY GIRL!) and I can't help but marvel at how pretty books are.

So that's it for now,  but I plan on spending the night doing some French coursework and possibly English coursework whilst watching Doctor Who forth series and Merlin third series.
